“The importance of family was instilled in me at a very young age. I grew up knowing I wanted to be a lawyer and made sure that I would someday be able to help others, no matter what it took to get there.

My passion for family law began as I witnessed my parents go through an unpleasant and tumultuous divorce. I knew that there had to be a better way to handle one of the most difficult times in a family’s life and that it does not always have to be so ugly. The most rewarding part of my job as a family lawyer is being able to help clients get to where they want to be, even though they come to me feeling like their life is falling apart. I find it fulfilling to be able to pick up those pieces one-by-one and walk alongside them in reaching a solution that will best suit their situation. Being able to represent people in the city where I grew up is an honor and I thoroughly enjoy being able to help in my community.
