(CHARLOTTE, N.C.) – J. Gregory Hatcher, managing partner of Hatcher Law Group, has been selected as a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML). He is one of only 35 family law attorneys in North Carolina to be recognized with this prestigious honor.
The AAML was founded “to provide leadership that promotes the highest degree of professionalism and excellence in the practice of family law.” There are approximately 1,600 Fellows nationwide.
AAML Fellows are highly skilled negotiators and litigators who represent individuals in all facets of family law and recognized by judges and other family law attorneys as leading practitioners in the area of matrimonial law.
Mr. Hatcher has practiced in the area of family law for more than 20 years. He has extensive experience representing clients in complex matters including divorce, child custody, alimony, domestic violence, business valuations and property distribution.
In addition to being admitted as an AAML Fellow, Mr. Hatcher has received the North Carolina Super Lawyers distinction and has been recognized by Business North Carolina magazine’s Legal Elite in Family Law for multiple years. He also received Martindale-Hubbell’s AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating in 2012.
Mr. Hatcher received his JD from Wake Forest University in 1993 and his BA from Vanderbilt University in 1990.
