“I became a family law attorney in hopes of helping others through some of the most challenging times life can throw at us. When I was younger, I watched from the sidelines as the reality of divorce unfolded in front of my family. Looking back, I see the positive and significant impact the attorneys made in helping my family reach a resolution, and now, years later, I am in a position to help other families through their own difficult times.
One aspect that I take most seriously when helping my clients through a family matter is to help them learn how to work together amicably and efficiently when children are involved. I have seen firsthand the positive long-term effects that come from two parents working amicably through the divorce process, and I’ve also seen the adverse effects that can result from an ugly divorce. I strive to give my clients a clear understanding of the law as it pertains to their individual situation, and I make a conscious effort to understand their top priorities throughout the process.
The most rewarding part of my job is helping my clients overcome a trying time and guiding them along the path to a new normal. I seek to empower each of my clients to embrace their independence and move on to the next chapter with a renewed sense of confidence and happiness. In the words of a great novelist, ‘you can, you should, and if you’re brave enough to start, you will.’ ”
