Our law allows a determination of the responsibility for a new child when calculating child support for other children. Whatever the amount of this responsibility is, it will be utilized to reduce your gross monthly income for purposes of calculation of child support. The resulting number is identified on the worksheet as the adjusted gross monthly income.
