Family law has been my passion ever since I took my first family law course in law school. Towards the end of that semester, I began clerking for a sole practitioner who practiced in family law and realized that I wanted to pursue a practice in family law. Even in my very first legal job, I realized that it was working directly with people that I enjoyed most. Seeing that I could make a direct and positive impact on a client's life is what committed me to practicing family law. And now, my clients are the driving force behind everything I do.
Helping people accomplish their goals through the legal system gives me a sense of pride that I carry with me always. Every client I see has a unique situation, a goal or goals that they hope to accomplish, and they have come to me for guidance and representation through the process. I try to give my clients realistic expectations, instead of just telling them what I think they want to hear and I work together with my clients, always valuing their input and perspective.
