In an effort to serve and give back to the community, Hatcher Law Group recently helped sponsor the 6th Annual Business Leaders of Charlotte Charity Golf Tournament held at Olde Sycamore Golf Plantation, Mint Hill, NC. More than 30 teams participated in this charity golf event. The Charity Golf Tournament created awareness and raised monies for two (2) charitable organizations: Wings of Eagles Ranch and St. Peter’s Homes.
The Wings of Eagles Ranch is a place where children and adults with special needs may ride horses and learn to manage these large animals, providing them with a special activity and therapeutic environment that can be emotionally rewarding and beneficial.
St. Peter’s Homes is an organization that assists low income individuals with identifying and obtaining suitable housing in the Charlotte area, thus, reducing homelessness in our community. This organization is also responsible for managing and operating the McCreesh Place, which contains sixty-four separate single room occupancy units that are rented to disabled men who were homeless.
In addition to the Firm providing both volunteers at the event as well as financial support, the Hatcher Law Group Golf Team, captained by Paul DeJesse, ended up winning the event with the lowest net score!
