Who We Are

Hatcher Law Group is a family law firm with offices in Charlotte and Davidson, North Carolina. Whether you are involved in a divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, equitable distribution or other domestic-related matter, our attorneys will strategically guide you through the legal process to help resolve your situation.

The Firm is led by J. Gregory Hatcher and Paul A. DeJesse, Jr. Both have been practicing in the area of family law for more than 20 years and have substantial experience litigating and settling highly complex child related and family financial matters. They each have earned the title of Board Certified Specialist in Family Law from the North Carolina State Bar and received Martindale-Hubbell’s AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating. Additionally, Mr. Hatcher was selected as a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers in 2015 – one of only 35 family law attorneys in North Carolina to earn this distinction.

In addition, he received Martindale-Hubbell’s AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating in 2012.
  • Paul DeJesse, Jr. was recognized with the North Carolina Super Lawyers distinction in 2014-2016 and was named among Business North Carolina magazine’s “Legal Elite” in 2013 and 2015. He also received Martindale-Hubbell’s AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating in 2013.
